'Once And Forever' Casts Kristen Stewart As Coco Chanel; Plays ‘Really Mean’ On Set?

Kristen Stewart to star as young Coco Channel for the movie "Once and Forever."

The "Twilight" actress was hand-picked by Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld among several high profiled stars to play as the young Coco Chanel.

"She can look like Chanel, and I wanted to show Chanel through all the decades of her life and the comeback in the 1950's," Lagerfeld said in a statement as was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is a creative depiction of Coco Chanel's life in different phases. It will show her life in action during behind the scenes, costume fittings, script reviews and all happenings in Hollywood's luxurious life.

The short movie was shot in July at director Luc Besson's studio in Paris. Kristen Stewart had already done two campaigns with Chanel and her upcoming appearance at the Metiers d'Art event in Rome on Dec. 1 will make it a total of three.

Karl Lagerfeld wrote the movie's scripts and plot. He also handled the characters casting as well as the costume designs.

Lagerfeld described Kristen Stewart's on how she portrayed Coco Chanel saying, "She played it really, really mean," reported The Telegraph. "You only see her in tests and she's complaining about everything. She's mean with the director; mean with the producer," he added.

Kristen Stewart revealed that she had no dialogue to memorize in shooting the short film. The movie's run time is reported to be 11 minutes long, according to Business Standard.

In addition to the casts, Geraldine Chaplin will also play the role as Coco Chanel in different parts of the film. Other casts will include stars such as Jérémie Elkaïm, Amanda Harlech, Jake Davies, François Marthouret, Jamie Bochert, Laura Brown and Baptiste Giabiconi, according to E! News.

Two official brief video trailers have already been released showing Kristen Stewart wearing Victorian-inspired outfits during a behind-the-scene setting, according to Harpers Bazaar.
