Samsung Introduces ECG, Blood Pressure Support To Its Galaxy Watch
Many of Samsung's products, especially those that are used for health monitoring, such as fitness watches, feature support for the person's health. Now, the South Korean technology company is bringing new health-related features to its devices.
Samsung is introducing electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure monitoring support to its Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 smartwatches.
More than 30 countries can access this new feature, including the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates. Users can take their blood pressure and conduct ECG readings from their smartwatch.
Prior to this, the health services of the smartwatches were only available in the United States and South Korea. Furthermore, the Health Monitor app of the multinational company was certified for conforming with health, safety, and environmental protection standards in the European Economic Area.
The update will be available from February 4th.
Update on Samsung Galaxy F41
In other news, Samsung's F-series mid-ranger, a Galaxy M31 with one less camera and no NFC, is getting the update. The update, according to GSMArena.com, will have the update to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 that will be carried out to Galaxy F41, or those units that have been sold in India.
The report added that the update arrives over-the-air. Once installed, users can build F415FXXU1BUAC, and they will also have the January 2021 security patch level.
Samsung Galaxy M02
On the other hand, Samsung is also unveiling the Galaxy M02 this February 2nd, considered to be the more affordable version of the Galaxy M02s. The new unit will be sold at Amazon and will cost around $100.
It features a screen that has the Infinity-V panel, 6.5 inches, and with 720p+ resolution. The battery will also have a 5,000 mAh capacity that matches the other M02s, the GSMArena.com report further stated.
