BLACKPINK’s Rosé Released A 'Coming Soon' Teaser Video Before Official Solo Debut
The teaser video, which has 5.7M views in just 24 hours, screams the K-Pop artist's personality with its soft yet dark tones capture her dreamy and unique voice. It's only 33 seconds long, but the teaser made a mark for Rosé.
On details, YG Entertainment reported that Rosé has already completed filming for her music video, and fans would get to hear her solo debut track for the first time at "THE SHOW," BLACKPINK's upcoming virtual concert, which will go live on January 31 at 12 a.m. EST.
With the exciting teaser, Twitter blew up once again with hashtags related to the singer's much-awaited solo debut. Hashtags such as "ALL MY LOVE IS GONE," #ROSÉ, #BLACKPINK, and #로제. The hashtags have 391K tweets, 1.12M tweets, 415K tweets, and 110K tweets, respectively, and counting.
YG shared that Rosé's solo debut album will be different from BLACKPINK's usual musical style in a past interview. It is expected that the song would magnify the "sweet yet soulful vocal" of the group's main vocalist. The song is said to be a teaser in a sub-title song of a full album.
BLACKPINK's Netflix documentary "Light Up The Sky" opened new insights into the group's main vocalist and New Zealand native. In the documentary, she showed her deep passion for music with footage of her playing the guitar and writing music in the middle of the night. Rosé even went viral last year for a clip of her when she was a kid covering a Jonas Brothers song.
"I feel more intimidated when I'm by myself," Rosé said in the doc. "When I'm in my room by myself and [say] 'oh I should try and write something,' I think I'm way more intimidated then. Cause it's me, I don't know if my opinions are right, and that scares me. I feel like I scare myself the most."
Stay tuned for more updates about Rosé's solo debut!
