KATSEYE Drops Mystical Bridal Concept Photos for Upcoming Single 'Gabriela'
The global girl group has unveiled a striking new visual concept featuring wedding attire just days before their June 20 single release.
KATSEYE surprised fans on June 17 with additional concept photos for "Gabriela," their upcoming title track from the second EP 'Beautiful Chaos.' The latest images showcase an unexpected narrative twist - one member appears in elegant bridal wedding attire, creating an intriguing mystery around the song's storyline.
The new photos continue to highlight the members' visual appeal while introducing a compelling narrative element through the bridal concept. This follows earlier individual teaser shots that established the group's sophisticated new aesthetic direction.
The recently released music video teaser features retro-inspired looks and Spanish-influenced guitar elements, suggesting "Gabriela" will mark a significant departure from their previous releases.
"Gabriela" serves as the title track for 'Beautiful Chaos,' KATSEYE's second EP scheduled for June 27. The project represents their most ambitious work yet, featuring collaborations with acclaimed producers Justin Tranter, Andrew Watt, and John Ryan.
Following the viral success of "Gnarly," which showcased high-energy dance and hyper-pop influences, the group appears ready to explore new sonic territories with their latest offering.
KATSEYE consists of Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, representing the Philippines, Switzerland, Venezuela-Cuba, India, China-Singapore, and South Korea respectively. The group was formed through HYBE and Geffen Records' 2023 reality show Dream Academy, which selected six members from over 120,000 global applicants.
They notably include the first Indian, Filipina, Latina, and Black artists signed under HYBE, positioning them as pioneers in the label's global expansion strategy.
KATSEYE has been added to major festival lineups including Lollapalooza Chicago on August 3, while their debut EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' reached #119 on the Billboard 200. Their track "Touch" was recognized by NME as one of 2024's 50 best songs.
With "Gabriela" dropping June 20 followed by the full EP a week later, KATSEYE continues building momentum as one of 2025's most promising international acts.
