BLACKPINK Rosé's First Solo Track To Be Highlighted On 'The Show'
BLINKS are already excited about the upcoming livestream concert of BLACKPINK titled "The Show." On Monday, Jan. 25, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé released a behind-the-scene video of their imminent virtual concert, which is only available for exclusive members.
In the said video, BLACKPINK members were seen dancing their hearts out with their passionate expressions and gestures. Reports have it that BLACKPINK: The Concert would highlight the first solo song of Rosé. Aside from Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé, the imminent concert would also feature a live band.
YG Entertainment, in a statement, confirmed that Rosé would perform her first solo song. It added that all BLACKPINK members have prepared for their performances in the past two months to make sure that they would give high-quality performance as a gift to their avid followers.
Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé are, also, expected to perform their hit tracks such as "Lovesick Girls," "How You Like That," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Pretty Savage," "BOOMBAYAH," "Kill This Love" and "Whistle." It remains to be seen, however, if they would have guests to perform.
In December 2020, BLACKPINK decided to postpone their highly anticipated conert due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea. The group rescheduled their virtual event on Jan. 29, 2020.
"We can't wait to meet our BLINKS as soon as possible, but in order to comply with the South Korean COVID-19 prevention guidelines and to ensure a safe performance, we have unfortunately made the decision to postpone THE SHOW from December 27 to January 31 of next year," the statement read. "Through our concert, we wanted to give you some sort of comfort during these difficult times, but the health and safety of everyone taking part in THE SHOW is our top priority, so, in order to make sure that we prepare for the concert in a safe environment, we have decided to postpone THE SHOW.
