Countdown To The APAN Star Awards: Son Ye-jin, Hyun Bin To Grace The Ceremonies
From the time they officially announced they are in a relationship and dating, celebrity couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have never yet appeared in public together. They are doing it for the first time, and it will be at the APAN Star Awards.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have been officially confirmed to grace the 2020 APAN Star Awards, according to the official ticketing site. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awarding ceremonies were postponed as it was supposed to be held yearly. The 2020 edition is happening on January 23rd and 24th.
The APAN Star Awards will be on the 23rd, while the APAN Music Awards will be held on the 24th.
Son Ye-jin personally invites you to watch the show
"Crash Landing On You" award-winning actress Son Ye-jin has also released a video personally inviting worldwide audiences to take part at the APAN Awards.
"2020 APAN Awards will be aired in 200 countries around the world on 24 January so please watch it," Son Ye-jin stated in the video.
The red carpet events will begin at 6 p.m. KST, while the main ceremonies will start at 7 p.m. KST.
Star-studded ceremonies
The APAN Awards have been conducted by the Korean Entertainment Management Association since 2012. It takes pride in being the only awards show to broadcast on all TV channels in South Korea. The 2020 edition is the seventh awarding ceremony since conception.
The awards have nominated various actors, celebrities, and stars for their talent and contribution in spreading Hallyu or Korean wave, as well as K-Drama worldwide.
Recipients of the awards in the past have been Son Hyun-joo, Song Hye-kyo, In-sung Jo, Soo-hyun Kim, Song Joong-Ki, Byung-hun Lee, and more.
Global fans can tune in to the two-day awarding ceremonies to be live-streamed online via Amazer. The tickets will be priced and on sale through Interpark. Subtitles will be provided in English.
