"We would like to thank the French police," the group's statement continued, "the F.B.I., the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil."

An audience member's video showed the band onstage rocking out when shots rang out in quick succession. Out of the 129 people reported dead in the massacre, 89 were at the Bataclan.

Among those killed were 36-year old Nick Alexander. He was well known among touring musicians and was from Colchester, England. He was selling band merchandise during the band's concert.
