Skype introduced their updated Android mobile app version 6.11 along with a video saving feature.

"Sometimes the most precious memories are the everyday moments," according to Skype reported by Tech Times.

"And at Skype, we want to help people come together so they can share experiences wherever they are," the statement continued. "Today, we're excited to launch Skype 6.11 for Android, which brings new features that will help you share and keep those moments that matter."

Skype Android mobile app allows users to save their video messages in one tap directly to their phone's gallery.

The updated app version not just saves videos but also includes an ability to manage conversations with one long tap on a certain contact or message to delete, mute alerts or mark it as read. Users can share photos directly from their phone's gallery to a group chat along with an improved search option for easy tracking of certain conversation, group name or a contact, according to Android Police.

The Moji doesn't have the default loop style anymore and will allow users the option whether to replay it or not. It can also be sent with just a tap to a group conversation or a certain contact.

Skype users have the ability to allow guests to join their group conversation using a special link that can be shared through social media, email or other messaging platforms.

The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store for new users with Android devices and as of the moment, devices on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich can download the updated app.

The company posted on their blog saying, "We're constantly listening to your feedback to help us improve Skype for Android," according to PC Magazine.

Users can submit their feedback anytime by tapping "Settings" and right under the support section, users just tap on "Feedback located at the upper left menu," according to Skype Blog site.

This news about Skype's 6.11 version on android has been getting viral since it was made public.
