Jimin To Support Artistic Students Through His Established 'BTS Jimin Scholarship'
The heart of gold of BTS Jimin has been made known once again as he made remarkable donations and support for students who are art enthusiasts and education lovers!
The King of Pop, BTS's Jimin, and his very passionate and dedicated fans have recently donated to Busan students over KRW 120 million this year. Right after Jimin contributed to Busan education with an amount of KRW 100 million ( roughly $86,000), a warmhearted ARMY reassembled fans to furnish 20 scholarships to Busan's students under the name of the "Sold Out King," BTS Jimin. The sum of donations reached KRW 20 million (USD 17,000).
Students Are Close To The Heart Of Jimin
Just recently, the BTS "Jimin Scholarship" has been announced. The donation of Jimin turned into a scholarship program will help and support outstanding and talented students of arts.
On December 8, the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation, led by A board of directors meeting headed by Chairman Seok-Woong Jang, was held. The chairman shared the scholarship project worth 966,660,000 Korean won (890,000 USD) that will be available in 2021.
Previously, the Jeolla province students received a generous donation of 100 million won (92,000 USD) from Jimin. The sum of contributions that Jimin provided was established as the "BTS Jimin Scholarship."
This amounted for three years to 108 million won (100,000 USD). In the art field in Jeonnam, the amount will then be used to fund outstanding talents. And beginning in 2021, the scholarships will be awarded.
