Song Joong Ki Shock: Is Song Hye Kyo's Ex Currently In The Philippines? Netizens Thought 'Vincenzo' Star Is On Tiktok

Song Joong Ki, according to reports, is working on his new series called Vincenzo. Recently, the former partner of Song Hye Kyo made headlines again after he seemingly appear on a Tiktok video.

The said clip, which was posted by @syd_wish, featured a man donning a blue shirt and a pair of black pants. He completed his ensemble with a pair of sneakers. The man, then, showed off his dancing skills to the beat of Black-Eyed Peas' "Pump It."

However, when eagle-eyed netizens carefully examined the video, they found out that it was not Song Joong Ki after all. It was learned that the man in the viral video is named Sydney Melano, who is from the Philippines.

The video has more than 1 million views and more than 15,000 comments as of late. Many commenters expressed that Sydney really looks like Song Joong Ki during the Descendants of the Sun's younger years.

"Song Joong Ki as a teenager," one netizen wrote in the comment section. "Wow, it's really like Song Joong Ki," another commenter said. "Loh Song Joong Ki," a third netizen stated.

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki, recently, divulged that he is already working on his new project. The Arthdal Chronicles lead star even released a message thru History D&C's official Instagram account, confirming the speculations surrounding the upcoming Vincenzo series.

"How are you all doing? ^^ I'm currently filming the drama Vincenzo. I'm getting colder these days," Song Joong Ki said in his letter. "Take care not to catch a cold. I wish you have a warm and happy winter days. Thank you and I love you ^_^ From. Jong Ki," he went on.

Rumors suggested that Vicenzo will premiere some time in 2021 on tvN. Aside from Song Joong Ki, other personalities expected to appear in the forthcoming new series include Ok Taecyeon as Jang Jun Woo and Jeon Yeo Been as Hong Cha Young. Song Hye Kyo's ex-lover will play as Vincenzo Cassano and Park Joo Hyung.
