SM Introduces aespa Member Winter's Virtual Avatar
Sm Entertainment has uploaded another teaser introducing their girl group members. This time it focuses on Winter, who was the first real-life member of aespa to be introduced to the public two weeks ago.
The longer video shows Winter with a gun then shooting the sky before it turns into different scenes. She is then shown with a sword in a comic book setting, slashing her sword around in a beautiful and artistic pattern.
But fans were not just treated to her visuals in the short teaser video. At the very end, we catch a glimpse of her avatar counterpart æ-Winter! The entertainment company also shared a photo of the two side by side.
Fans continue to wait for their highly-anticipated debut, aespa being the first girl group from SM in six years since Red Velvet's debut. They will be releasing their single "Black Mamba" on November 17 6PM KST. They are also the first group to have real-life and virtual member counterparts, a first in the industry. This concept was expounded on by SM Lee Soo Man in the 2020 World Cultural Industry Forum.
Two members have now revealed their avatars, Karina and Winter. Fans are anticipating the unveiling of Giselle and Ningning's avatars in the coming days.
