MONSTA X Confirms Jooheon Will Return to Band After Mental Health Concern
MONSTA X is officially returning as a six-member group. Member Jooheon will be participating in the group activities after a a few months of rest. Starship Entertainment released a statement confirming the return on March 27.
"Member Jooheon will officially return to promotions with MONSTA X's comeback scheduled for this May, after announcing a brief hiatus from his promotions back in January in order to seek mental rest and recuperation," the statement read.
Starship also assured the public that they are continually monitoring the health of all MONSTA X members.
"We will continue to monitor the MONSTA X members' health conditions consistently and do our best to ensure their wellness."
The state of Jooheon's membership in MONSTA X was up in the air after he was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and recommended to rest. Fans are looking forward to the group's comeback starting this May.
