Cosmic Girls Dawon Diagnosed With Anxiety Disorder, Taking Leave

Cosmic Girls' member, Dawon, is reportedly taking a leave from the group due to anxiety disorder. Cosmic Girls will continue performing as a 9 member group for now.

Starship Entertainment issued a statement on Dec. 12 regarding Dawon and her condition.

 "Cosmic Girls' member Dawon recently complained of suffering symptoms of mental anxiety, and she visited the hospital for an accurate diagnosis and received an exam and treatment. The results of the examination was an anxiety disorder, and her promotions with Cosmic Girls have been temporarily halted."

No word on when Dawon will return. Fans hope for her rest and betterment in this time.
