Block B's P.O Could Be Acting Alongside IU & Yeo Jin Goo In Upcoming Fantasy K-Drama

The acting career of Block B member P.O is flourishing. After the success of his latest K-drama Encounter, P.O could appear in another tvN series and he may also work with singer-actress IU and The Crowned Clown actor Yeo Jin Goo.

Reports indicate that the K-pop idol has been offered a role in the upcoming fantasy drama Hotel del Luna but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. According to news outlet Ilgan Sports (via Soompi), P.O has received an offer to play the role of a young bellboy at the hotel.

It was earlier reported that Korean singer IU and actor Yeo Jin Goo have received offers to portray the lead roles in the K-drama. Yeo is asked to play the role of an elite hotelier while IU could be portraying the female lead character who falls under a curse as punishment for her sins.

Hotel del Luna tells a story that revolves around a place where the wandering spirit lives. But the mystery lies not only at an old hotel but on the people that are working in there.

In the story, a man is forced to work at Hotel del Luna as a manager due to an unexpected case. He will manage the place along with the hotel CEO, Jang Man Wol, who is a beautiful woman but ill-tempered and greedy, and a bellboy who is described as "young" but apparently, has been working at the hotel for 70 years since the Korean War.

Man Wol made a huge mistake many years ago and because of that, she has been under a curse for over a 1,000 years. To break the curse, she needs to find a soul who has committed a greater sin than herself.

Hotel del Luna will be helmed by Doctors and While You Were Sleeping director Oh Choong Hwan. Director Oh will be working alongside Hong Jeong Eun and Hong Mi Ran, who have written Hong Gil-dong, Master's Sun, and A Korean Odyssey. Hotel del Luna is slated to premiere in August following Song Joong Ki's Asadal Chronicles.

P.O was last seen in tvN's Encounter with Hallyu stars Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo. If the 26-year-old K-pop idol accepts the offer, Hotel del Luna will be his third K-drama.
