Girl's Day's Hyeri Offers An Advice To Block B Member P.O On How To Get Close To 'Encounter' Co-Star Park Bo Gum

Block B member P.O is set to appear in the upcoming K-drama Encounter alongside Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo. He, however, admitted that he still feels awkward talking to Park hence Girl's Day member Hyeri offered him an advice.

On the recent episode of tvN's Amazing Saturday, Hyeri and P.O have talked about the Love In The Moonlight actor. At first, host Boom asked P.O about his role in the upcoming melodrama with Park and Song. The singer said he will play the role of Bo Gum's character younger brother.

Then he was asked if he already has a close friendship with Park since they are working closely together in the TV series. P.O admitted that they do contract each other but he still feels a little bit awkward talking to Bo Gum.

Girl's Day member Hyeri then offered P.O a technique on how he can get closer to the actor. Hyeri gave permission to P.O to mention her name when he talks to Park again. Hyeri and Park Bo Gum are friends as they both starred in the hit drama Reply 1988. The female K-pop idol added she also knows that Bo Gum is a fan of Amazing Saturday.

"Mention my name. Tell him we did this show together," Hyeri said to P.O.

Meanwhile, tvN also dropped new stills of Park Bo Gum's character, Kim Jin Hyuk, along with his close friends in Encounter. The photos feature Jin Hyuk while having a drink with his best buddies Jo Hye In (Jeon So Ni) and Lee Dae Chan (Kim Joo Heon).

Jo Hye In is Jin Hyuk's childhood friend who also harbors romantic feelings for him. Lee Dae Chan, on the other hand, is someone who has always at Jin Hyuk's side to give him some guidance.

Encounter tells the story of a rich and prominent divorcee who falls in love with an ordinary man whom she unexpected meet in a foreign land. The love story that blooms between will also put their lives into chaos.

Park Bo Gum plays the role of the lead male character, Kim Jin Hyuk, a cheerful and innocent man who lives an ordinary life and always cherishes every moment of it. Song Hye Kyo portrays the role of Cha Soo Hyun, a daughter of a prominent politician and ex-wife of an heir of a large conglomerate. She constantly lives in a spotlight hence she never been able to lead the life she truly desires. Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo-led drama Encounter will premiere on November 28 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
