The "Hotline Miami 2" level editor beta version has been revealed by game developers, according to IGN.

"Hotline Miami 2" is the latest iteration of the "Hotline Miami" game franchise. It is a game where a player kills enemies in a 2D fashion on top view. It looks like a classic game, but the game has a lot of young fans.

Dennaton Games, the game developer, has announced that there will be an open beta for the game's level editor, according to VG247. The feature will be available for PC through the Steam platform only. Fans who want to try out the feature do not need an invite to participate. A tester can play with the editor until the end of the beta stage in early January next year.

The level editor of the game will be released on Dec. 10, according to Destructoid.

All contents of the feature will be available from the start for a gamer to try out but there will be limitations, according to PC Gamer. The studio confirmed that there will be no custom music or sprite editors for testers to try out in the beta phase. There is still some couple of minor features that the studio is working on so that will be excluded.

"If we let people get free music when they download levels we are viewed as an illegal file sharing tool," said the spokesperson from Dennaton Games.

There is no need to try out the sprite editors, according to sources. The modders have already done the job, apparently. The studio also said that testers are free to use those mods.

In addition, for fans and gamers who want to try out the "Hotline Miami 2" level editor, but have not used any level editor before, the studio will be putting out a series of video tutorials on the launch date to assist them.
