BTS Teases New Episodes Of 'Run BTS' & Never-Before-Seen Performance At The 2018 KBS Song Festival

What better way for the most popular K-pop group in the world today than to open a year with a brand new episode of their variety show Run BTS. The septet will also showcase their songs that are never before sung on TV at the 2018 KBS Song Festival.

Run BTS is returning on V Live with a brand new season on the first day of 2019. BTS has dropped a teaser for the upcoming episodes of Run BTS. The "IDOL" hitmakers teased a season packed with action, suspense, laughter, and more. The first episode of Run BTS in 2019 will air on January 1.

The last episode of Run BTS for this year aired on July 24 where members go on a trip. During their vacation, the members played games, sang karaoke songs, and read poems they wrote for one another. In the brand new episodes, the seven-member K-pop group will also embark on trips and play hilarious games and some emotional moments are already anticipated by the viewers.

Meanwhile, BTS is expected to become extra once again at the 2018 KBS Song Festival this week. According to the organizers of the festival, the "Fake Love" singers will hit the stage with a performance of songs that they have never sung on television before.

"BTS is hard at work preparing their special performance, meticulously checking every detail from the conception of the performance to their choice of songs for the set list. They will be creating an entirely new performance that has never been seen anywhere before," a festival rep added (via Soompi).

Aside from BTS performance, the 2018 KBS Song Festival has also teased a special stage from the artists of SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. The SM singers that are invited in the event are EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, and Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon. The JYP artists in the festival lineup are TWICE, GOT7, DAY6, and Stray Kids.

Moreover, the song festival will also feature performances from TWICE, Wanna One, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, NU'EST W, MONSTA X, BTOB, Apink, MOMOLAND, (G)I-DLE, Oh My Girl, AOA, Lovelyz, The Boyz, VIXX, and WJSN (Cosmic Girls). Sunmi, Chungha, Norazo, Hwang Chi Yeol, Highlight's Yong Junhyung, 10cm, Roy Kim, Kim Yeon Ja, and Celeb Five will also attend the event.

The 2018 KBS Song Festival will air live on December 28 at 8:30 p.m. KST. It will be hosted by BTS member Jin, EXO's Chanyeol, and TWICE member Dahyun.
