Demi Lovato's 'Hello' Performance Got Fans Emotional; Dedicates Song To Her Late Father!
Demi Lovato performed her own version of Adele's new song "Hello" on Nov. 14 during the Seattle's Fall Ball.
Fans felt emotional during the "Confident" singer's performance, singing every high note as if she was about to cry, according to Us Weekly. The song "Hello" is Adele's new hit single after three years.
Demi Lovato also performed her own songs at the WaMu Theater such as "Heart Attack," "Neon Lights," and her latest song titled "Cool for Summer," according to Daily Mail.
Her version of "Hello" is not the only song that stirred her emotional side. She recently talked about her relationship with her father, Patrick Lovato who died in 2013, who has a certain song in her latest album titled "Father" which lyrics describe their father-daughter relationship.
"I was very conflicted when he passed because he was abusive," she explained reported by Us Weekly.
"He was mean. He wasn't capable of raising a family, and it was because of his mental illness. To know that it wasn't fully his fault really was saddening to me, and I wanted to write about it. I wanted to process it," her statement continued.
Demi Lovato had been open about her own emotional struggles and insecurities that she already overcame. She mentioned that she wants to be a role model to others who has gone through the same situation as her. During her performance, she confidently wore a leather crop top and miniskirt, and finished it off with a thigh high boots.
"I do have to stay accountable," she explained in a statement. "Because there are people who look up to me for inspiration. There are times when I don't feel confident and I feel insecure about my body. I think what's important is that I walk the walk, I don't just talk the talk. I have to stay accountable," she continued.
