Marvel could be finally ending the anticipation for the first-ever trailer of Avenger 4. The studio is reportedly planning to drop the preview of the Avengers: Infinity War's sequel this week.

Marvel Studios is reportedly set to drop the first trailer of Avengers 4 on December 5. Several media sites reported that the clip could be released on Good Morning America on ABC. It could also be unveiled at the Game Awards on Thursday which will be attended by both Avengers 4 directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

The trailer is expected to unveil the official title of Avengers 4. More importantly, it will offer a glimpse of what to expect in the assembly of Marvel superheroes next year.

Since the Avengers: Infinity War ended with unclear fate for some of the Avengers heroes, its fandom has been speculating if their favorite superhero will return in the fourth installment. For many MCU fans, the trailer is the best option they have to spot a hint on what is about to unfold in Avengers 4.

This is because Marvel bosses have yet to offer a hint on the fate of the Avengers heroes that vanished at the end of the Infinity War and they are not expected to give out any until the movie premieres. The studio and its bosses are notorious for keeping the plot of their movie as closely guarded as possible even to their cast members.

Karen Gillan (Nebula), for instance, previously revealed that she never received a script for Avengers 4 while Paul Bettany (Vision) was given a fake Infinity War script. Prior to the premiere of Infinity War, the Russo brothers launched an anti-spoilers campaign, called the "Thanos Demands Your Silence," which asks fans to keep the plot of the movie as a secret.

"We have developed a process where you take pressure off of people by letting them know less. It's less responsibility they have to edit themselves, so we've developed an elaborate process by which we try to only let people know what they absolutely need to know. And it makes a little bit easier for them to edit themselves," Anthony Russo previously explained.

Meanwhile, the release of the Avengers 4 trailer will follow the unveiling of Captain Marvel's second teaser. Marvel previously confirmed that the second Captain Marvel trailer will be released on December 3. Reports indicate that the new trailer for Captain Marvel will debut at the halftime of the Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington football team. The first trailer and poster of the Marvel heroine dropped back in September.

Captain Marvel is set to be out in theaters on March 8, 2019, while Avengers 4 is currently scheduled to premiere in the U.S. on May 3, 2019. It will be followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
