TWICE To Drop A Special Album Gift To Fans; Shares Preview Of Their 2019 Season's Greetings Calendar

K-pop female group TWICE has just started the promotions for their latest album Yes or Yes. Yet the band is set to drop another album as a gift to their fans for the upcoming holiday season.

TWICE's label, JYP Entertainment, has confirmed that the nine-member group will be releasing a special album next month in time for the holiday season. The company has yet to divulge details of the new album including a definite release date. However, JYP said TWICE will not do any broadcast promotions for it.

"TWICE will be releasing a new album in December... This upcoming album is like a gift that TWICE has prepared for their fans in time for the holiday season, and as it is a special album, there will not be any broadcast promotions [for the album] in particular," a representative of JYP Entertainment said.

There have been reports that TWICE did some filming in Mongolia for the new album. Apparently, it is for the music video for the title track of the upcoming album.

TWICE released their latest album Yes or Yes earlier this month. The LP debut at No. 5 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart. According to JYP, Yes or Yes also became the fastest K-pop girl group video to hit 10 million views on YouTube, smashing the record previously held by BLACKPINK's "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du."

Meanwhile, TWICE has also shared the preview of their 2019 Season's Greetings calendar photoshoot. Titled as "The Roses," Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are seen in the clip clad in some chic and classy outfit.

TWICE will also be promoting Yes or Yes in their guest appearance in the next episode of SBS's Running Man. The preview for the episode teases the girl's appearance has a theme about secrets.

The teaser shows TWICE and the cast of Running Man engage in a game that involves secrecy and stealing. They steal things from each other and hide the stolen items in their pockets. The twist in the game is that a mini "Bomb" tag is seen being attached under someone's name tag. The TWICE's appearance on Running Man airs on December 2 at 4:50 p.m. KST.

Moreover, TWICE has also been confirmed to perform at the 2018 Kōhaku Uta Gassen in Japan. This makes them the first K-pop girl group in history to appear on the show for two years in a row. BTS is supposed to appear in the music show as well but it was canceled due to the controversy on member Jimin's shirt.

Additional, the K-pop female group idol also announced recently their dome tour next year in multiple locations in Japan. The group will be performing for their fans in Osaka on March 21, Tokyo from March 29-30, and in Nagoya on April 6.
