BLACKPINK member Jennie is confirmed to have a solo debut but she's not the only one. YG Entertainment has confirmed that all four members of BLACKPINK will be having their own independent track very soon.

YG Entertainment released a statement clarifying that all four members of the group will be having their solo single. The statement came after news about Jennie's solo debut sparked confusion among fans.

YG said Jennie will be the first one to release an independent single but she will be followed by her bandmates soon. Apparently, the production of the solo tracks is being done at the same time as they are doing the band's upcoming songs. The company added that Jennie is already in the final stages of preparation for her first promotions on her own and it will be happening this year.

"Jennie's track will be released first, and following that will be Rosé's solo track. BLACKPINK's greatest strength is that all four members' individual talents are as strong as their bond as a team," YG Entertainment head Yang Hyun Suk said in his post on Instagram.

It was reported this week that Jennie is making her solo debut after she was spotted filming a music video in Europe alone. Reports indicate that Jennie will be launching her solo project by November.

A Twitter user also shared online a photo of Jennie while filming in London. In the picture, the BLACKPINK's main rapper is photographed riding a bike in an all-black outfit. Jennie recently attended the Paris Fashion Week and she was also seen at the front row seat of the Chanel fashion show.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa have dropped their much-awaited new song "Kiss and Make Up." The English singer released on Friday the official audio of her collaboration with the female K-pop group. The bilingual dance track will be as part of the upcoming "Complete Edition" Dua Lipa's self-titled album.

Moreover, BLACKPINK is also set to hold their first ever concert in Korea on November 10 and 11 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The fan club ticket pre-sales for the concert had started on October 14. The general ticketing kicked off on October 18.

The four-member female group released their latest EP titled Square Up in June along with the title track "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du." The music video for "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" was named at the time as the most-viewed Korean MV within 24 hours with over 36.2 million views. The female K-pop group also previously held the second spot of the most-viewed MV next to Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do."
