BTS's 'Burn the Stage: The Movie' Premiere Date, Theater Locations, Tickets, & More
If watching BTS in concerts, awards nights, and in their guesting in several TV shows, the Bangtan Boys are offering more. Fans can also watch them on the big screen very soon.
Big Hit Entertainment earlier announced that BTS's Burn The Stage: The Movie will hit cinemas starting on November 15. Now, the list of theaters in the United States where the film will be shown has been dropped as well.
The septet's cinematic debut will kick off in select AMC theaters across the U.S. in less than a month from now. Tickets are available starting on October 22. So far, no premiere date for other countries has been announced but it has been confirmed that the film will be released worldwide. Check out the complete list of theaters at the official film website.
The K-pop sensation first released the BTS: Burn the Stage series on YouTube Red in March. It was an eight-part documentary of the band's Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings in 2017. The band performed in 40 concerts in 19 cities and last year's tour drew over 550,000 fans. The original series features the band's performances as well as the group's rise to fame story.
The movie, on the other hand, will have the highlights of the YouTube Red edition as well as some never-seen-before behind-the-scenes clips of the band members. New interviews with Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are also including in the movie. The flick will run for 85 minutes.
BTS is undoubtedly the hottest boy group today. Since their debut in 2013, they were able to top the Billboard 200 albums chart twice this year with Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer albums. They also made history when the group addressed the United Nations General Assembly, performed at a sold-out concert at New York's Citi Field Stadium, and appeared at the cover of Time Magazine as one of the "Next Generation Leaders."
Meanwhile, aside from the movie, BTS has also extended their Love Yourself world tour concert. Big Hit has recently released new tour dates, all of which are in Asia. The company said there will be more dates to come.
The group wrapped the U.S. leg of their tour in a historic concert at New York's Citi Field Stadium. They also performed at The 02 Arena in London and in Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The group is currently in Paris for a two-night concert in Accorhotels Arena before heading back to Asia.
