'Goblin' Stars Lee Dong Wook & Yoo In Na In Talks To Reunite In New K-Drama
Goblin fans may see lead stars Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na together again in a new Korean drama for tvN. Reports indicate that the duo is currently in talks to reunite in the TV series that is tentatively titled Touch Your Heart.
Both agencies of Lee and Yoo have already confirmed that stars received an offer to star in the upcoming new K-drama. The agency also revealed that Lee and Yoo are considering signing up for the series. There were also reports that the lead male role was offered to Life on Mars actor Jung Kyung Ho. It looks like he turned down the offer.
Touch Your Heart is about a lawyer with a cold personality and a famous actress whose career is about to be ruined due to a scandal with a third generation chaebol and. Lee Dong Wook has been offered to play the role of lawyer Kwon Jung Rok who hires a secretary, Oh Jin Shim, who turns out to be a famous actress but got involved in a scandal.
Yoo In Na will portray actress Oh Jin Shim is she accepts the role. This will also mark as her first acting project since Goblin: The Lonely and Great God in 2016. Earlier this year, Yoo In Na admitted that she turned down several projects last year because she is not confident to take lead roles.
Yoo In Na rose to fame in playing a supporting role in SBS's drama My Love from the Star in 2013. In 2016, she appeared in one of the highest rated Korean TV series Goblin in which he portrayed the role of Kim Sun who fell in love with a Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook).
As for Lee Dong Wook, he recently starred in medical drama Life. Bae Suzy's ex-boyfriend made his acting debut in 1999 and hit stardom when he starred in the romantic comedy My Girl in 2005.
The drama is based on a web novel. It will be helmed by What's Wrong with Secretary Kim director Park Joon Hwa. Touch Your Heart is set to premiere in January 2019.
