In a couple of months, fans will see Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) back to the small screen in Better Call Saul Season 4. To make fans more excited, its creator, Vince Gilligan, revealed that another Breaking Bad character is coming to the spinoff series. Who do you think it is?

"There's a very important character from the Breaking Bad era that we're going to meet this year," Gilligan said at the show's Masterclass panel at the AMC Summit in New York City, per The Wrap. However, the 51-year-old genius creator didn't exactly reveal who is this Breaking Bad character that is coming to Better Call Saul Season 4.

But, Gilligan promised that this new addition will surely please their fans. In a different interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the producer teased that viewers didn't see this character yet that is coming to Better Call Saul Season 4. "I'm not promising you ever saw this character," he said.

So according to Metro News, this mysterious character from the Breaking Bad era is Lalo. He never appeared in the original series, but he was mentioned by Saul Goodman (Odenkirk) in an episode in Season 2, titled "Better Call Saul."

Aside from Lalo, executive producer Melissa Bernstein hinted at a number of new characters coming to Better Call Saul Season 4. "We have a couple of new characters that we'll be reintroducing to the world," she said. However, they didn't want to name who these characters will be yet as they wanted to preserve the excitement for the fans.

In addition, Gilligan also teased that Better Call Saul Season 4 will be darker compared to its previous installments. "It gets darker, it gets richer. It's still got funny in it," he revealed. But in the relation of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, the two show's crossover will be bigger than expected.

Fans will also see more of Chuck's (Michael McKean) story, even though he is already gone. Bernstein also teased that he will be looming large in Better Call Saul Season 4 even if fans don't see him. "He has such a profound effect on Jimmy and thus, Saul," she said. Better Call Saul Season 4 will premiere on August 6 on AMC.
