Blake Shelton Rescue Oklahoma Residents; 'The Voice' Judge Dubbed As 'Hero!'
Blake Shelton rescued four men from a dangerous situation near a river in Oklahoma on Friday.
A truck was stuck in a mud hole where Bryar Blanton, Lenyell, Adrian and Josh were inside and was situated near the Washita River in Oklahoma. "Me and my buddies were checking out the river, when some of my buddies slid into a big mud hole and got stuck for about two hours," Blanton said as reported by People.
"Me and Adrian started walking down the road and Blake and his dog, Betty, stopped and picked us up in his truck," he added.
Blake Shelton immediately tried to rescue the men out with his truck but didn't worked out so he decided to put in extra effort to pull them out. "He said he'd be back in 15 minutes with his tractor. He came back and got us out and chatted for a minute and talked to us about hunting," Blanton told E! News. "Blake is an all around good caring guy," he continued.
Bryar Blanton shared a picture of him with Blake Shelton whom he called "a hero" in Twitter as a proof as to the rescuing incident with a caption, "After @blakeshelton pulled me out," reported by Vulture.
This incident is not a first time for Blake Shelton, this summer the "The Voice" coach also rescued a man in his truck in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He helped a resident named Roho Hartman tow his stalled truck during Tropical Storm Bill and gave the man a ride home, according to US Magazine.
"If it wasn't for Blake, I would have been out there for countless hours," Blanton said in an interview with E! News. "And yeah I would say he is a hero," he added.
The "Hillbilly Bone" singer recently shared a tribute for his brother, Richie Shelton whom he described as his own hero. "Richie died at age 24 in a car crash 1990" and Blake was only 14 years old when his brother died. He shared his feelings through a tweet saying, "He's still my hero going strong. Wish everyone could've known him," reported by E! News.
