Things are looking up for Ban and Melodias in The Seven Deadly Sins Chapter 270. After being apart for centuries, the duo is now finally reunited and will soon embark on a new mission – to look for ways to escape Purgatory.

One of the most awaited events finally happened in The Seven Deadly Sins Chapter 269, which can now be read online on some sites such as MangaStream. After centuries of wandering around the Purgatory, Ban was finally able to find Melodias, or to be more accurate, his emotions. What's even more important is that both are finally sober and not the mindless monster they once used to be.

It was a long search for Ban. In fact, he admitted to Melodias that there were plenty of times that he felt just like giving up. There were also instances that he turned into a wolf-like monster but, luckily for him, he still managed to revert to his original self as he kept reminding himself of the purpose of his journey in Purgatory.

Ban found Melodias fifty years ago but did not realize it was him. It was revealed in the recent chapter that the monster dragon that Ban had been fighting with for decades was the friend the was looking for.

Now that the Ban and Melodias are now reunited, it looks like the two will be having some fun in the coming The Seven Deadly Sins Chapter 270. Titled "An Encounter with the Unknown," the duo will have a new mission, and that is to escape Purgatory and go back to the real world.

However, it won't be as easy as it sounds. After all, Purgatory is a dangerous place, and it would be surprising if nothing will hinder them on this quest. In fact, The Seven Deadly Sins Chapter 270's title alone seems to hint that unexpected trouble might find them as early as next installment.
