‘Tokyo Ghoul:re’ Episode 9, 8 Spoilers: Somebody Suspects Haise, Shu Initiates Contact
The action will even be more intense in the upcoming Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 9. With the introduction of a new arc, all the major players are in position as the Rose Extermination Arc's plot is finally set into motion.
Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8 Recap
As predicted by previous Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8 spoilers, the installment finally introduced a new arc. This time, CCG will have its hands full as they try to solve its next case against the Tsukiyama family in the Rose Extermination Arc.
After noticing a number of abductions, CCG assigned the S1 squad to handle the Rose case headed by Koori Ui. However, what shocked some of the Quinx Squad members is Ui's teammate Hairu Ihei, who was revealed to be around their age but is already assigned to dangerous missions.
When the S1 Squad later encountered their enemies in Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8, Ihei's superb fighting skills were in full display which explains why the higher-ups are comfortable in sending her to the frontlines despite her young age. She had no problems fighting their highly skilled opponents at all and easily dodged and parried the attacks of her opponents.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8 finally showed Shu Tsukiyama, one of the arc's main players. He is revealed to be the heir to the rich Tsukiyama family currently headed by his father Mirumo. However, it appears that Shu is on the verge of getting out of control and would even attack close family members such as Kanae. However, Shu does not have any memory of these incidents once he regains his sanity.
As previously predicted, Haise started investigating the items he received via a package. He eventually traced the maker of the mask and tried to return it together with the books. However, the maker refused the mask's return saying that it must be fate for them to meet and that he could keep the items. He will most likely continue his investigations in Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 9, and fans can expect more mysterious memories cropping up.
Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 9 Speculations
It's highly likely that Shu Tsukiyama will want to meet with Haise in Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 9. In the brief preview for the upcoming episode, Tsukiyama can be heard saying that there is no way Kaneki will forget him. However, it remains to be seen if their paths will already cross next episode or if the current Haise will ever remember anything at all.
Speaking of Haise, someone might be having suspicions about his loyalty in the coming Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 9. In the trailer, someone says, "He's basically a ghoul no matter how you look at it." If the statement was indeed referring to Haise, who could be harboring suspicions about him?
