Game of Thrones Season 8 is still a long way off, possibly even longer than a coming winter this year, but fans just cannot help it with their theories which are definitely on point and plausible. One such theory involves the stark siblings again and their pivotal role in the fate of Westeros.

This one is about Jon Snow/Stark (Kit Harington) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) who almost always finds themselves in tricky situations. Speculations and theories point out that fictional history (in Westeros) will repeat itself and Jon Snow might find himself poised to suffer the same fate as Ned Stark (Sean Bean) did. Fans posit that it is up to Arya Stark to not let this happen, meaning she will have to rescue Jon since she is one of the few people who can do it without much effort, being a "No One" and all.

Of course, it can be recalled that Ned Stark was imprisoned in the dungeons of Red Keep in King's Landing which is now controlled by none other than Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). As to how Jon Snow will end up in the same situation as his uncle Ned Stark did, knowing Jon, he probably asked Cersei for something important for the war against the White Walkers. Fans should note that Cersei holds weapons of mass destruction in the Red Keep, which is definitely wildfire that can kill White Walkers by the thousands.

Apparently, Jon will ask for help, but Cersei will imprison him instead, leading Arya to do something drastic for her brother. Arya then probably will manage to kill Cersei which is at the top of her hit list. Of course, this is all speculation based purely off of some leaked set photos back in February where Kit Harington dressed as Jon can be seen standing on what appears to be the ramparts of the Red Keep. He also appears to be imprisoned in the said locale.

There are options, however, to just let Jon Snow die just like Ned Stark who was beheaded in King's Landing, though this could be unlikely. For now, the only way to find out is to wait for the eventual release of Game of Thrones Season 8 on HBO.
