The synopsis for "Sutton Ross, No. 17" listed by The Futon Critic even confirms that the two are in for "a climactic race" in The Blacklist Season 5 Episode 22. Nevertheless, there are speculations that the only way they could actually get to the Blacklister is by working with each other. Some believe their teamwork will eventually lead to Liz learning the truth about the bones in the duffel bag, something that could change things in the next season.
