Now that the coming of Prison Break Season 6 is confirmed, fans are wondering what Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield's (Wentworth Miller) next adventure is. Although the official storyline of the new installment has not yet been revealed, it looks like the previous season's final episode hints what is about to happen next.

When Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn confirmed in January that there would be Prison Break Season 6, he said the network is "developing a new iteration" for the show. The new installment is still in "very early stages of development," so no official plotline has been revealed.

However, according to the series' co-showrunner Vaun Wilmott, the previous season's final episode, "Behind the Eyes," might be connected to the upcoming Prison Break Season 6, Digital Spy reported. According to him, ideas are now brewing for the next installment.

To recall, the director of the CIA director Roberts (Ken Tremblett) offered Michael a job, but he refused. However, in Prison Break Season 6, he might reconsider accepting it, and that could lead to a new start. Michael is now enjoying his life with his family after he received full immunity for the crimes he did. However, he is under the control of CIA agent Poseidon (Mark Feuerstein).

On the other hand, it was also reported that the show's creator Paul Scheuring had another idea in mind for the previous season's ending. Originally, he liked to show Michael having a hard time settling down after all that happened. Although he seemed to have a normal life, he will be bothered knowing that things couldn't stay normal and fine. Would this be featured in Prison Break Season 6?

"Hopefully, the audience gets the subtext that life will never be normal for Michael Scofield," Scheuring said. In fact, in a tweet, he even said Prison Break Season 6 would be going back to the very beginning. "Literally, the very first frames," he tweeted.

So, there might be a big possibility Prison Break Season 6 is going to feature a new angle or twist that might change everything fans thought they already knew. However, as Fox has yet to announce anything about the show's official plotline, fans should take these assumptions with a grain of salt and wait for the series' return to the small screen.
