CNBLUE 2018: Jungshin Reveals How He Truly Feels About Disrespectful Fans, See Tweet

by Colt Nava / Apr 27, 2018 01:24 AM EDT
CNBLUE’s Jungshin is the latest victim of inappropriate behavior by die-hard fans, and he has something to say about it.

It’s no secret that fans are one of the huge factors that help celebrities achieve ultimate stardom. Unfortunately, some supporters are getting out of hand, to the point that they sometimes forget that celebrities may be public figures as there are things that should remain as private as possible. So when CNBLUE’s Jungshin felt disrespected by fans, he took to social media to reveal his emotions.

After the 26-year-old South Korean musician, singer, rapper, and actor felt that sasaeng fans (over-obsessive fans of a Korean idol) invaded his privacy, he took to Twitter to vent out his frustration. Lee Jung-shin (Jungshin) shared a series of tweets sharing how upset he was about the incident and also noted that he wanted it to stop.

CNBLUE’s Jungshin Felt Violated After Sasaeng Fans Bought ‘Illegal’ Flight Information

"Isn't it illegal to buy flight information,” the CNBLUE bassist said. “Did you have to do this? Both the buyer and the seller." Jungshin also warned fans that although he doesn’t want to get mad at them, they really have to stop what they’re doing. “I really really hate saying stuff like this but please do not touch my flight info, as well as my other personal information,” he continued.

This is not the first time that fans went out of their way to get exclusive information about a K-pop idol. It can be recalled that BTS also had the same issue before their highly-anticipated appearance at the Billboard Music Awards last year.

Fans had obtained illegal flight information of BTS at the time, in an attempt to get seats near them. Since this will result to these fans taking photos of the boys during the flight, which is considered invading their privacy, their company, Big Hit Entertainment, issued a statement for the sake of the safety of the members.

Big Hit Entertainment revealed that “BTS members are under great mental and physical stress due to some fans’ lack of discretion.” The company then concluded its statement by telling fans to respect the privacy of not only BTS but all artists as well.
