‘EXO's World Trip On A Ladder' Kicks Off With Japan Episode In May; K-Pop Group Explores The World
EXO is going on an adventure on EXO's World Trip On A Ladder. Amidst their busy schedule, the members of the K-pop group will take time off to embark on a new adventure in different countries across the globe
EXO has announced late last month that its sub-unit, EXO-CBX, has already commenced filming for their upcoming travel-reality TV show. In the show, the EXO member will determine their next travel destination by playing Ghost Leg lottery, also called as Sadaritagi or "ladder climbing" in Korea.
The first destination is for the group's subunit EXO-CBX. It is the Tottori Prefecture in Japan. EXO's World Trip On A Ladder Episode 1 will follow EXO-CBX members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin as they travel to Japan.
The trio will take EXO-Ls to the Land of the Rising Sun as they enjoy shopping and the delicious food in Tottori. They will also encounter unexpected situations as they explore the most beautiful and historic places of Tottori.
The show also dropped a promo poster for CBX's episode. It shows Chen, Xiumin, and Baekhyun posing somewhere in Tottori while holding what seems to be tickets. EXO's World Trip On A Ladder will premiere via the mobile app Oksusu on May 21. It will be available weekdays at 10 a.m. KST starting on May 21. Reports indicate that it will also air on xtvN.
EXO-CBX's New Album Blooming Days Debuts In Music Charts
EXO-CBX's new EP, Blooming Days, which includes its title track "Blooming Day," makes its debut at No. 2 in Billboard's World Albums Chart. BTS's mini album, Love Yourself: Her, returned at the top spot and is now on its 30th week on the chart.
According to SM Entertainment, Blooming Days also dominated the weekly album charts. It said the EP took the No. 1 spot on domestic weekly albums charts, iTunes Albums charts in 36 countries, and on Xiami Music Korean music chart in China. Blooming Days is Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Chen's follow up to their 2016 debut mini-album, Hey Mama!
Meanwhile, EXO is set to hold their The EℓyXiOn concert in Manila's SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 28. EXO-CBX is expected to perform their newly-released mini album, Blooming Days, here. They might also announce where their next destination of their EXO's World Trip On A Ladder show would be.
