‘Dragon Ball Super:’ The Warrior Stronger Than Jiren Could Be Revealed In The Movie

News about 'Dragon Ball Super' just keeps coming. The anime series just ended over a week ago and there have been many talks about its future. 

A new interesting development about the anime series' future has been revealed. It is a well-known fact that the video games of the anime reveal spoilers about the series. 

In 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse,' a possible spoiler was seen in 'Xenoverse 2.' 

"It would also be prudent to remember that there could be someone much stronger than Jiren out there," Whis said. 

Whis' statement suggests that there are more powerful characters than Jiren in the 12 universes. 

Now, the question is... who could it be? 

There are no details about this new villain yet but there have been speculations that he or she will be revealed in the 'Dragon Ball Super' movie. 

The film will tackle the events following the Power Tournament and dive into other unexplored issues that involve Freeza and the Saiyan race. 

Also, this only means that fans should definitely catch the movie this year. Some fans are already anticipating the continuation of the series. However, there have been no details yet which led to some people to believe that that could be the end of the series. 

The good news is, the creator has already hinted that there is going to be a continuation of the anime series. In that case, it would probably air next year instead of this year. 

Akira Toriyama also dropped a teaser about their anime prospects. 

"The Dragon Ball Super movie this time will be the next story in the series currently airing on TV. It will be an episode after catching our breath from the climax of the Tournament of Power with the universe's existence on the line; with content that will give a little better understanding about Freeza and the Saiyans, which I hadn't properly depicted up till now; and leading to a mighty foe saved for the occasion, which I think has it shaping up to be really enjoyable story," he said. 

He also said that the series will be ending for the "time being," leaving us hopeful that there is really going to be another one.
