It's a back-to-back win for MAMAMOO in the South Korean music show Inkigayo. The K-pop female band had emerged victorious in the most recent SBS Inkigayo' special episode. It showcased the performances of several K-pop idols singing their comeback hits. In the end, the most popular comeback song was announced.

The special episode culminated on Sunday with performances from TVXQ ("The Chance of Love"), iKON ("Rubber Band"), GOT7 ("Look"), NCT 127 ("Touch"), MONSTA X, ("Jealousy"), Samuel Kim ("ONE"), and many more. MAMAMOO was nominated for the top honor along with Wanna One and Momoland. Last week, the four-member girl group performed their hit song "Starry Night," while Wanna One sang "Boomerang," and Momoland performed "BBoom BBoom."

At the end of the competition, Inkigayo MCs Seventeen's Mingyu, DIA's Jung Chae Yeon, and actor Song Kang announced that MAMAMOO would be taking home the most popular comeback song award. Wanna One won second place, while MOMOLAND is in third.

Inkigayo (The Music Trend in English) is a South Korean TV program that features some of the latest and most popular K-pop artists on stage. It airs every Sunday at 12:10 p.m. KST on SBS.

Earlier last month, MAMAMOO also won MBC Every1's Show Champion. The quartet, along with Red Velvet, Momoland, iKON, and Wanna One, was nominated for the "Champion Song" of the week. MAMAMOO was ultimately named the winner for their song "Starry Night."

So far, the group's "Starry Night" won nine awards in several music shows since its release last month. It also climbed from the No. 9 to the No. 2 spot, next to Wanna One's new song "I.P.U (I Promise U)," in Soompi's music chart last week.

MAMAMOO's Yellow Flower Special Track "Everyday"

MAMAMOO had released its sixth mini album, Yellow Flower, earlier this month. Subsequently, they also dropped its title track, "Starry Night." On Friday, the quartet released the music video for "Everyday." The song is the group's way to thank everyone who supported their new album and single "Starry Night."

MAMAMOO's spring-themed EP marks the group's "Four Seasons Four Colors" project. The album will feature each member's charm. Wheein is slated to drop her solo album soon while Solar will have her first solo concert later this month.

Meanwhile, MAMAMOO's label, RBW Entertainment, had announced that the tickets for Solar's three-day Emotion Concert Blossom are already sold out. Tickets went on pre-sale on March 28 for MAMAMOO's fan club members and became available to everyone on March 30.

Solar's solo concert will be held at the Ewha Womans University from April 27 to 29. She is expected to perform her self-composed tracks in the show. "Starry Night" is co-written by Solar.
