Korean Star Song Ji Hyo Reveals Her Phobia, Throws Shade On Super Junior Heechul
If you think Song Ji Hyo is always comfortable talking to people, think again. The Running Man cast member has admitted that she has a phobia talking over the radio. She revealed that it is because of Super Junior member, Heechul.
In a recent broadcast of SBS Power FM's Cultwo Show, the actress said she has fear of radio shows because of Heechul. Song recalled the time when she was a guest on Heechul's radio show.
"I was chastised by Super Junior's Heechul in the past when I was a guest on his radio show. I received a question, and I was thinking about it so I didn't talk for 3 seconds. He cursed at me with his stare," Song revealed.
The actress has confessed that she feels pressured every time she speaks on a radio show because someone told her that it is a sin in a radio broadcast if you don't speak instantly. She feels nervous knowing that listeners are only listening to her voice.
Many may think that it is quite weird for a veteran celebrity like Song to feel nervous when speaking to the public. Song has been in the entertainment industry since 2001. She started in movies and TV series before joining the cast of the hit South Korean variety show Running Man in 2010.
As for Heechul, he is a veteran in radio programs and knowing how playful and naughty he is, Heechul was probably teasing Song at the time the actress appeared in his show.
Heechul has hosted several radio shows in the past. He appeared as a radio DJ on SBS Power FM Youngstreet until mid-2006. The Super Junior member returned to the airwaves in 2010 on SBS's Heechul's Young Street. While serving his two-year mandatory military service in 2012, he also hosted a radio program at the office of District Seong Dong once a week.
Song Ji Hyo's New Movie What A Man Wants
The actress is currently promoting her upcoming film entitled: What A Man Wants. She stars in the movie along with actors Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Sung Min, and Lee El. The romance/comedy film is about four people seeking love and adventure on Jeju Island.
"The film itself is about cheating, but it's a movie that will make you feel thankful for the person beside you," Song said.
Shin will play a depressed husband who once dreamt of becoming a world-renowned chef. Song will portray his wife. The movie is set to premiere in South Korea's cinemas on April 5, 2018.
