Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Relationship Leads To Steamy Marriage In 'Outlander' Season 4
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are working hard to make all seasons of Outlander successful. Heughan and Balfe's insane chemistry and friendship are definitely the keys to the opening of the show's Season 5.
Outlander Season 5 is in the works, and the show's Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore confirmed the news. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Moore has finally announced that they are going to do another season with Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe.
"We are certainly going to do it," Moore announced and stated that he is definitely sure that Season 5 will be aired.
For the Sunday panel, Heughan and Balfe sat down with Moore and the rest of the show's creators. It seems like they are going to continue creating another Season based on Diana Gabaldon's novels. However, the producers and writers might split the stories up this time around.
“We’ve done that up until now," he stated. "But we’ve talked about splitting books, and we’ve talked about combining them. We want to be free in the writers’ room to pick and choose and do what feels most comfortable that year.”
Moore unveiled that he is currently reading and editing the scripts to make it successful. Perhaps, Balfe and Heughan's bond makes it easy for them to do their scenes.
In Outlander Season 4, Balfe and Heughan will finally settle down and experience the married life. Getting married is actually an important part of their relationship. The on-screen couple is also wondering how the story would go if they become older.
“We finally actually get to see them in some sort of state of domestic bliss,” Balfe stated. "Finally, they’re not being ripped from home or made to travel across oceans. They actually settle, and it's a different dynamic, and it's nice to explore that."
On the other side of the story, the on-screen couple was spotted greeting their fans as they were about to start production in Glasgow. Season 4 does not have a release date yet, but reports suggest that it will be released this summer.
As of this writing, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are still working on the Outlander Season 4 scenes in Scotland.
