The breakout game of 2018, Monster Hunter World continues to dominate the market. The Capcom game has recently hit a milestone.

The game has reached 7.5 million units shipped between its physical and digital copies on PS4 and Xbox One.

Gunpowder Fish

Create explosive traps by catching the gunpowder fish. A type of aquatic animal that you can catch in MHW. The question is, where will you find it?

First of all, you have to know what it looks like. It's a tiny fish with glowing red-orange eyes. As you approach a pool of water, keep an eye on bright red lights below the surface. You can find them in:

  • Coral Highlands - Area 7
  • Rotten Vale - Area 9
  • Elder's Recess - Area 8

They usually swim in pairs. A successful catch will give you a Gunpowder Fish Scale or a Great Gunpowderfish Scale depending on its size. This is very important to craft some powerful trap bombs especially if you're about to face off with the Nergigante or other Elder Dragons.

Death Stench Armor

One of the most hardcore armor sets to unlock in Monster Hunter World is this armor. And the catch? It's well-hidden.

The first step is to unlock the Tailraider Safari upon reaching the Rotten Vale for the first time. Return to your room once you've accomplished the mission and talk to the housekeeper who will give you everything you need to know. After this, you can start deploying Tailraiders on a safari to fetch for you materials and other items.

As the story progresses, your Tailraider Safari will be upgraded, providing you with new locations and boosting your chances of receiving rewards. This will help you reach new levels once you unlock High Rank content. It is important that you choose a group with the highest stats as they will give you a higher chance of receiving the item that you need to unlock this armor.

Once you get yourself a single Sinister Cloth, you can have the Death Stench armor crafted at the Smithy. For the full set, you are going to need 5 Sinister Cloth. To gather more, continue sending out Tailraider Safaris.
