Jamie Dornan And Dakota Johnson Are Less Likely To Be Seen Onscreen After ‘Fifty Shades Freed’
The globally popular onscreen pair, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have received a good number of praises and criticisms for portraying the role of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades Freed movie. Both the lead stars had recently been nominated as worst actor and actress in 38th Golden Raspberry Awards aka Razzies.
Fifty Shades Freed movie continues to perform incredible at the global box office and it just crossed the US $1.25 billion globally, Just Jared reported. The movie is expected to exceed about $340 million at the worldwide box office. Even fans are happy with Dornan and Johnson's performance. However, the critics believe that both the actors still need to improve their acting skills.
The lead actors didn't receive Worst Actors and Actress awards
As far as the nomination at Razzies is concerned, both Dornan and Johnson were among the nominees but they did not get the Worst Actors and Actress awards. According to Inquisitr, Kim Basinger, who has played the role of Elena Lincoln in the Fifty Shades Freed movie, has received the worst supporting actress award. Her character not only brought several complications to the wedding in the movie, she was the one who introduced Grey to the masochism and sadism in relationships.
Will there be another sequel after Fifty Shades Freed movie?
Recently, a rumor went rounds that the director and producer of the Fifty Shades franchise were working on another sequel after seeing the amazing performance of the ongoing movie at the box office. Cinema Blend shared what the 35-year old Dornan said that he himself is not interested to do another sequel after working on the third movie. Dornan further opined that since there are no other books on the erotic romance trilogy by Erica Mitchell (popularly known as E L James), there is no chance of making another sequel.
Will Dornan and Johnson be seen together onscreen again?
The husband of Amelia Warner is presently working on the movie A Private War after recently completing Robin Hood and Untogether, whereas Johnson will be seen in the movies like Suspiria and The Peanut Butter Falcon. During the filming of all the Fifty Shades movies, they have always been encircled with rumors despite the fact that they have always refuted all the claims. Hence, there is a very less chance for them to again get into another movie together presently.
