‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 5 Adds ‘Jane The Virgin’ & ‘This Is Us’ Actors, Airing Date Confirmed
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 went on a small hiatus after the airing of episode 11 titled The Favor on December 12, 2017. The viewers were curious to know when the series would come back again and air the remaining episodes of Season 5. Now the official declaration made by the series creator Dan Goor confirmed that it would be aired in March.
Series Creator's new tweet announces the airing date
Parks and Recreation director Goor announced via a Twitter post that Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 would resume on Sunday, March 18. He tried to excite the viewers about the series through his message that reads "Can't wait for everyone to see the second half of the season!!!"

Fox immediately updated its program listing following Goor's announcement and places it in its new time slot at 8:30 PM Sunday. The American police television series will replace the airing time of Fox's newly released television series titled Ghosted.
Addition of new cast
According to TV Line, the series will welcome two new guest stars Gina Rodriguez and Sterling Kelby Brown. Rodriguez is famous for her lead role Jane Villanueva in Jane The Virgin and Brown for his main role, Randall Pearson in This Is Us. However, their characters are yet to be revealed.
Awaited future of some important characters
Earlier, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was aired on varied time slots for the last two years - 8 pm, 8:30 pm and recently 9:30 pm. The upcoming episode titled Safe House will pick up where it actually ended. The local mobster Seamus (Paul Adelstein) was seen threatening the wellbeing of Captain Holt's (Andre Braugher husband Kevin (Marc Evan Jackson). Holt also came to know that he would become the new police commissioner and get full assistance while dealing with the gangster Seamus. The viewers are also interested to see what happens to Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) after she came out as a bisexual in the previous episode.
Jake and Amy's impending marriage
On the other hand, Jake proposed to Amy in the first half of the season. Now the viewers are highly looking forward to the wedding of Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) in the upcoming episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5, as reported by Deadline.
