‘Prison Break’ Season 6 Officially Confirmed, Michael Scofield’s Wife Sara May Not Be Seen In The Series Anymore
The premiere date of Prison Break Season 6 seems to take some time as Fox recently confirmed the continuation of the series. On January 4, Michael Thron, the entertainment president of Fox Broadcasting, declared at the winter press tour of Television Critics Association's (TCA) that the series' sixth season will be happening.
Major characters from previous season will reprise their roles
Thron further said that Prison Break Season 6 is presently in the early stage of development, which obviously means we will have to wait for a couple of months at least for the announcement of its premiere date.
On the other hand, Gary Newman, Fox CEO and Chairman opined that the upcoming Season 6 of Prison Break would bring the majority of the characters from the previous season. While giving the credit to the series creator, Paul Scheuring, Newman said that it was his (Scheuring's) idea to have another season.

Although Thron confirmed the official making of Season 6, fans already got a hint that the series creators and producers are planning for another season. The lead actor Dominic Purcell, announced via Instagram that Season 6 is in the works. He posted a snap on the social networking site with the caption, "@prisonbreak #prisonbreak6 in the works."
Newman further said that it was "super early" to say what can happen in the upcoming season. They have not gone through any written materials yet. However, both the brothers, Burrows and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) will be seen reprising their roles as the series will be totally incomplete without them. However, Scofield's wife, Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) said that she would not reprise her role in the series.
According to Cinema Blend, since the previous season wrapped things up on a pleasant note for all the characters involved, Tancredi and her husband Scofield were shown having a happy domestic life with one kid.
