‘The Simpsons’ Predicted Rogue Square At Winter Olympics, Gal Gadot Will Voice Season 3’s One Episode
The Simpsons did it again! The long-running animated sitcom earlier perfectly predicted Donald Trump's winning for the United States' President and Ebola outbreak. It is so surprising to see a cult cartoon is impressively so prophetic in so many occasions. This time the show is again creating the headlines and its fans and followers are constantly looking for new updates.
Josh Weinstein, who is best known as a writer-cum-producer for his work on The Simpsons, has recently revealed that the show has predicted the rogue squirrel that appeared in the Winter Olympics 2018. The 51-year old writer posted a squirrel's snap, a still photograph from the show's Mountain of Madness episode and teasingly tweeted that "Simpsons predicated it.
What the episode Mountain of Madness is all about
According to NME, the episode Mountain of Madness is actually The Simpsons' eighth season that showed Homer (voiced by Castellaneta) getting trapped in a cabin with Mr. Burns (Harry Shearer) during an avalanche. They were in a team-building exercise on a mountain.
A Twitter user was very fast in pointing out that the episode had nothing to do with the Olympics. However, Tom's comment is not adequate to sheathe the true speculations that the series has done in the past.
The Simpsons' prediction capability
There have been a plenty of things The Simpsons is known for predicting successfully. The discovery of the Higgs Boson particle added with the NSA spying scandal was shown in The Simpsons Movie. Some other notable predictions are Lady Gaga's acrobatic performance at the Super Bowl LI halftime show and the introduction of auto-correction and Smartwatch technology.
Gal Gadot will lend her voice for an episode
It was recently revealed that Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot is a huge fan of The Simpsons, the long-running Matt Groening-created animated series that has won dozens of awards. The series fans and her followers are excited to learn that she is now all set to voice for at least one episode.
Recently, the 32-year old Fast & Furious actress tweeted on the social media along with a video notifying her fans that she had grown up watching The Simpsons and now she has taken the opportunity to lend her voice for one episode (of Season 30) titled Bart's Not Dead, as reported by Pursue News.
