'Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon' Necrozma Guide: Here's How To Catch Necrozma In Its Different Forms [VIDEO]
Despite completing the story, details about how to catch Necrozma are few and far between. Thankfully, the internet is brimming with guides to getting your hands on Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon's cover star.
Necrozma was merely a post-game bonus in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games; however, it plays a vital role in "Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon" story. It is supplemented by a few transformations that bear a striking resemblance to those obtained by Kyurem and Giratina in the past.
Necrozma Guide
Catching these immensely powerful monsters is no child's play. Trainers will have to complete a series of grueling tasks first in order to obtain them. Necrozma is the first Pokemon a Trainer will be picking up.
While traveling through Mount Lanakila in the direction of the Elite 4, Trainers are likely to bump into an exhausted Necrozma resting in an impact crater. After interacting with the crater, Trainers will be prompted to lend the creature the light from their Z-Ring and then get on with the battle, according to a report by Gameranx.
It is imperative for Trainers to bear in mind that it's a level 65 Pokemon, which is likely to be higher than their average level for this segment of the game; however, it has a considerably high catch rate. In order to catch it using just an ultra ball, Trainers need to first reduce its strength. Once it is weak, it can be caught without wasting a single rare ball.
Trainers will receive the N-Solarizer and the N-Lunarizer from Colress after the battle. They will also get Ultranecrozium Z. These items have a crucial role to play in capturing the next two forms, US Gamer reported.
Solgaleo/Lunala
Trainers must head straight to the Mahalo Trail after capturing Necrozma. This is where they will meet Lillie along with Solgaleo (in Ultra Sun) and Lunala (in Ultra Moon). They now have the chance to fight and capture this legendary. They also need it to use the special Necrozma forms. Trainers might not have to employ anything more powerful than an ultra ball since its catch rate is very high, just like Necrozma.
Dusk Mane Necrozma/Dawn Wings Necrozma
Once a Trainer's team includes Necrozma and Solgaleo or Lunala, he/she is all set to use the N-Lunarizer and N-Solarizer items. By using the aforesaid items and selecting Necrozma and Solgaleo or Lunala when advised, the two Pokemon will merge either into Dawn Wings Necrozma (with Lunala) or Dusk Mane Necrozma (with Solgaleo).
Ultra Necrozma
With either Dawn Wings Necrozma or Dusk Mane Necrozma affixed to the Ultranecrozium Z, Trainers will see an option in-battle to use his/her Z-move to turn into Ultra Necrozma. This is identical to how a Mega Evolution works.
