'Final Fantasy XV' Episode Ignis Release Date Set For November 29
Looks like a good news for "Final Fantasy XV" fans. A new report that centers on Episode Ignis along with some unseen surprises are on the way. Square Enix makes FFXV-related announcements at regularly occurring intervals via Active Time Reports, and the one that's slated to arrive next will have a lot in store for those who tune in.
The next report is scheduled to be hosted on Wednesday, November 29 at 8 a.m. on the game developer's official YouTube account. Those who miss this will be able to hear everything in recaps that will follow shortly.
Fans are usually given a brief glimpse of what the upcoming report comprises, and the looming announcement on the 29th serves the same purpose. For those unaware, "Final Fantasy XV" was released on November 29, 2016, which means this upcoming announcement will be released on the game's one-year anniversary.
In other words, the announcement will be rife with vital shreds of information. Alternatively, Square Enix will divulge more details on Episode Ignis, the concluding DLC (downloadable content) that follow the central character.
Aside from shedding more light on an update that's expected to roll out in December, Square Enix will also announce results of a survey. While the Japanese video game developer has kept the content of the update under wraps, a report from Comicbook claims everything about the next update will be revealed in the report.
Square Enix will also be discussing a recently released expansion dubbed, the Comrades DLC. It gives players a long-awaited multiplayer element to the game, letting them create their own characters and interact with each other.
The third DLC story will revolve around Ignis' expedition to get Noctis out of the Niflheim Empire following his strife with Leviathan in Altissia. Ignis will be accompanied by Ravus Nox Fleuret in his quest to rescue his sister, Lunafreya. The young man will also escort them out of the city. The Ignis-focused chapter will delve into their unpredictable relationship and Ignis might end up going toe-to-toe with the sequel's main villain, Ardyn Izunia.
The third DLC is likely to be more strategic as far as gameplay is concerned. This is to let players create strategies to defeat enemies in a single blow without wasting time. Moreover, Ignis can beef up his onslaughts with the help of magic. As if that weren't enough, he can move through buildings with the help of a grappling hook, according to a report by Blasting News.
Square Enix will release Episode Ignis in "Final Fantasy XV" on December 19. The game developer streamed the latest gameplay for "Dissidia Final Fantasy," which introduced fan-favorite Noctis as the new playable fighter. In terms of gameplay, the latter is similar to "FFXV," allowing Noctis to call for weapons utilizing the power of the Lucis Kings.
