Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington Teases Show’s Ending and Reveals It Brought Him to Tears

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones", has revealed that he and the other cast members have already done a table read of the Season 8 finale. He also shared that it brought him to tears, making fans curious about what will happen to his character or the HBO series itself.

According to E! Online, the Hollywood actor discussed how he feels about the "Game of Thrones" ending after portraying the character for over 8 years while on the BBC's "The One Show". "We had a read through last week in fact, so I know everything now...I cried at the end. You have to remember that eight years of it - no one really cares about it more than us."

The finale read-through of "Game of Thrones" was done in Belfast, Ireland and it was said to be an emotional moment for the whole cast. Kit Harington also said that it's been an institution longer than any other institutions he has been in - school, drama school, etc. He also said that it will be a strange year saying goodbye to the cast and having last scenes with specific characters. He pointed out that not only is he attached to the show, a lot of people around the world are attached to it as well.

According to W Magazine, Kit Harington could not reveal anything else about the emotional scenes. He was even told not to tell that they are filming or even take pictures in Belfast. HBO is really working hard to keep "Game of Thrones" spoilers from leaking. In fact, they are using earpieces to give actors their lines so that scripts won't get out. This is also a precaution following the hacking that was done to them before.

Kit Harington revealed that all of the cast and crew might not even be aware on who wins the game. Like other long-running series, "Game of Thrones" will shoot several versions of the same scenes so that no one from crew members or onlookers can say what happens until the finale. Furthermore, "Game of Thrones" will return to HBO sometime late next year. Meanwhile, watch Kit Harington being interviewed about the Season 8 finale below.
