'Poldark Season 3' Episode 4 Spoilers: Will Dwight Escape Imprisonment?
"Poldark Season 3" episode 4 will see a major character plunging into a decision that could have tremendous repercussion. Another character will also jump in harshly to nurse a broken heart. Read on to know more about what to expect in next week's episode.
For "Poldark Season 3" episode 4, it seems that everyone is going on a mission to rescue Dwight (Luke Norris). It will be recalled that Dwight endures his fate as a prisoner of war in France as Cornwall managed to celebrate Christmas, albeit famine. Caroline (Gabriella Wilde), meanwhile, traveled to London, also looking forward to being able to bargain a ransom for Dwight's release.
As stated in the synopsis for "Poldark Season 3" episode 4, officially released by PBS, Ross (Aidan Turner) will decide to take on a desperate gamble. Drake (Harry Richardson) will join him to nurse his broken heart. George (Jack Farthing) jockeys for a triumph in politics.
As pointed out by Cartermatt, the desperate gamble might be pertaining to Ross' decision to save Dwight. In "Poldark Season 3" episode 3, the competition between Ross and George was highlighted once again when the two tried to help the village overcome the poor harvest. While Ross was able to feed the people, this resulted for Warleggan to shut down the Wheal Ledger. With all odds seemingly going against Ross' favor, deciding on a "desperate gamble" is the next thing in his mind.
As for Drake, his heartbreak over Morwenna (Ellise Chapell) is enough of a compelling reason for his character to join Ross. This is especially true as it was shown in "Poldark Season 3" episode 3 that Morwenna was also being wooed by the powerful and influential, Reverend Whitworth (Christian Brassington). Drake's hopes were shattered as Whitworth is everything that he is not. As characterized for "Poldark Season 3," Drake is not a genuine member of Cornwall's high society. He is carefree, playful and vulnerable to puppy love.
