Hawaii Five-0 Season 8

"Hawaii Five-0" season 8 episode 4 will see the death of one person and the return of an interesting character. McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will be compelled to seek assistance from this most unlikely collaborator. Read on to know more of what to expect in Friday's episode.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 8 episode 4 is titled "E Uhi wale no 'a'ole e nalo, he imu puhi" or "No Matter How Much One Covers a Steaming Imu, The Smoke Will Rise." The lives of the informants working with the Five-0's are in danger as a result of a hacking conducted against the HPD system. One of these informants dies and the incident placed McGarrett in a difficult position. So much so, that he will ask for the assistance of the very man that he just imprisoned - hacker Aaron Wright (Joey Lawrence).

As previously explained by Peter Lenkov, fans will see more of Aaron working together with the Five-0s in "Hawaii Five-0" season 8. It will be recalled that he is the brother of Nick Jonas, a hacker who was also on the show in the previous years. "We're building the arc with his character, which is a lot of fun," Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly.

Lenkov further explained that "loss" is one theme that going to play in the character's relationship and how they connect with each other in "Hawaii Five-0" season 8. The theme is seemingly reflective of what had happened in the series in real life. Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park bid farewell to their characters due to salary disputes. The two stars had reportedly negotiated salaries in the same range to that of co-stars Scott Caan and O'Loughlin. In the absence of their characters, Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua, new members were recruited - Tani (Meaghan Rath), Former Navy Seal Junior (Beulah Koale) and Kono's hubby, Adam (Ian Anthony Dale).
