‘NCIS’ Season 15 Episode 4

'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 4 on Tuesday, October 17, welcomed NCIS Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane played by Maria Bello. Flirty scenes and witty exchanges with Gibbs, played by Mark Hamon, thrilled fans and they took to Twitter to commend the actress for a strong debut in the series. After 'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 4, fans now would watch whether Jack Sloane will be a foil to Gibbs or the initial tension between them would end up in more flirtatious rendezvous. The episode was titled "Skeleton Crew."

It would be recalled that Director Vance had personally lobbied for Agent Jack Sloane's transfer from California to the headquarters. So, on 'NCIS' Season 15 episode 4, her car "conveniently" broke down in a place where she can "opportunely" asked help from Agent Gibbs. This all happened in the midst of a hurricane. She was definitely his type and he immediately shipped her. They flirtatiously drank coffee together, both discreet about their identities as federal agents. Their quirky exchange and Bello's witty come back - Gibbs: "Do you drink coffee?" Jack: "Uhm by the Galloon" - excited fans.

Unfortunately, just as the two were warming up, Gibbs was called into an incident at a Halloween Party where someone, wearing a devil costume, had attempted to murder Marine First Lt. Ethan Wynn. The same person in question kidnapped Wynn's military wife, Helen. The latter's family initially thought that her kidnappers would ask for ransom but this did not materialize. It was later discovered that the person in devil costume had been watching the couple all throughout the party.

McGee and Gibbs were seen in 'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 4 investigating Helen's disappearance until she was discovered in her car's trunk. She was beaten black and blue. Back at the NCIS office, employees were scarce as the hurricane persisted. Director Vance operated with a skeleton screw but brought in a forensic psychologist - Agent Jack! Apparently, she just orchestrated the earlier incident in order to know more about Gibbs - to the latter's dismay of course. This created friction between the two.

Gibbs and Agent Jack were mostly bickering in the 'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 4 while they investigate who was behind the devil costume who stabbed Ethan and kidnapped Helen. At some point, Ethan became their suspect as it was found that she had actually filed for divorce but that he did not mention this during the investigation. He had also checked out from the hospital earlier in the same night that Helen was murdered. Meanwhile, Torres and Bishop were looking into the angle that Helen's former XO, Commander Thomas Buckner, was the killer due to an unrequited love.

Finally, Abby figured out that Helen's keys which were left in her car had other keys which could have the fingerprints of the killer - and she was right. The fingerprints belonged to Petty Officer Joe Smiddy whom Bishop and Torres later caught to be stealing money from the ship. Smiddy revealed that killing Helen was not part of the plan but his partner in crime, Mitch Grayson, ended up murdering her. As it turned out, Grayson had been having an affair with Helen but she decided to leave him to go back to Ethan. Not wanting to accept his defeat, he killed Helen instead.
