Marvel Withdraws The Punisher Panel At New York City Comic-Con After The Las Vegas Tragedy
As many would know, there was a terrible incident happened at a music festival and it has an injured and took away many lives. Now, Marvel's The Punisher has canceled it's October 7 panel at New York Comic-Con. This is their decision after the horrible mass shooting incident that happened in Las Vegas.
Netflix and Marvel said in a statement that they are stunned and saddened by the devastating event in Las Vegas. After careful consideration, Marvel and Netflix have decided that they would not be appropriate for Marvel's The Punisher to participate in the New York Comic-Con.The companies added that "Our thoughts continue to be with the victims and those affected by this tragedy," according to Deadline.
The panel was supposed set to be one of the most awaited of the entire weekend. Various teasers and images have scattered and hinted the potential release date would be October 7.Now, many have wondered if the panel would feature new announcements that the series will be available instantly or at least when will the 13 episodes hit Netflix, according to Comic Book.
As follows, the character debut in Marvel comics, the Punisher has been a conflicted character. The role is one of the few heroes who are not far away from violence. Thus, some critics compare the violence of the series to the unwanted event in Las Vegas, according to Screen Rant.

Meanwhile, in the Marvel's Daredevil Season 2, Jon Bernthal played the role. He serves out his own brand of justice as he saw it. Thus, this has led to a conflict between Matt Murdock and the Punisher whose real name is Frank Castle. He created a compelling dynamic that Bernthal's character was given in his very own series.
