The popular legal series, "Suits," is getting a Korean remake and, already, it has found its lead characters. Jang Dong Gun and Park Hyung Sik have reportedly signed to star in the upcoming drama.

This will be Jang's first television series in five years. His last drama was SBS' "A Gentleman's Dignity" that aired way back in 2012. Most recently, however, he appeared in the action movie "V.I.P." with Kim Myung Min ("Six Flying Dragons"), Park Hee Soon ("The Missing") and Lee Jong Suk ("While You Were Sleeping").

Meanwhile, Park is best known for the recently-concluded comedy-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon" where he played the role of An Min Hyuk, the leading man. He also previously appeared in "Hwarang," "She Was Pretty" and "The Heirs."

According to Soompi, 45-year-old Jang will play the role of Choi Kyung Seo, a legendary lawyer in the country's top law firm. His character is the Korean version of Harvey Specter played by Gabriel Macht.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Park was cast as Go Yeon Woo, a young man who has an incredible memory. Similar to the U.S. series, he will join the law firm. Based on the character description, Park will play the Korean version of Mike Ross originally portrayed by Patrick J. Adams.

"Suits" Korea will be written by Kim Jung Min. Meanwhile, Kim Jin Woo, best known for his work in "Queen of Mystery," will direct. The upcoming drama will air in the first half of 2018 on KBS2.

Meanwhile, the originals "Suits" Season 7 is currently on a mid-season hiatus. In an interview with Deadline, showrunner Aaron Korsh teased that the second half of the current season will feature the return of familiar faces. Moreover, the series is set to introduce a new character who will play a major role in the remaining six episodes.
