Lee Hyori is a South Korean singer, actress, record producer, activist, and television presenter who used to be a member of the K-pop girl group Fin.K.L.

"Party People" marked the first time Park Jin Young, who is professionally known as JYP, is hosting a talk show on TV. The musician's talk show premiered on July 22, Saturday, on SBS and his first guest was Lee Hyori.

During the first episode of "Party People," Lee performed "Bad Girl Good Girl." The song was the debut single of miss A, a K-pop female group JYP formed in 2010 through his entertainment company JYP Entertainment.

Released on July 1, 2010, "Bad Girl Good Girl" enjoyed commercial success in South Korea. It was one of the 13 tracks from miss A's debut studio album titled "A Class," which was released on July 18, 2011.

Aside from Lee's "Bad Girl Good Girl" performance, the other highlight of the first episode of "Party People" was the exchange of revelations between her and JYP. According to Lee, she called JYP before going on hiatus in Jeju Island for several years.

At the time, Lee confessed to JYP that she was worried about her lifestyle. While giving her some relationship advice, he was inspired to write a song, he revealed.

Lee also talked about her process of maturing as a singer. After her hiatus, she made a comeback with a new JTBC reality show titled "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" as well as her sixth album titled "Black."

The first episode of "Party People" also featured Yeom Jung Ah as a guest. The veteran actress recently played Shaman Hong Joo in the 2016 JTBC series "Mirror of the Witch," which also starred Joon Shi Yoon, Kim Sae Ron, Kwak Si Yang and Lee Sung Jae.

Designed to be different from the traditional talk show format, "Party People" has a set staged like a club so the members of the audience members are standing in front of the stage. The first shoot took place on July 10, Korea Herald reported.

Meanwhile, Hyori is gracing the cover of the August edition of Cosmopolitan Korea, as cited by Xports News. For the magazine, she had a photo shoot at a desert in California.

In an interview with the magazine, Hyori said filming "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" in her house Jeju Island backfired on her. People are coming to see her house regularly, she revealed.
